My opinion
Frozen is one of my favourite Disney movies and I have rewatched it many times already. When I found out that there was a ‘Twisted Tales’ version of one of my favourite stories I was overjoyed and couldn’t wait to start reading. But I must admit, this is my 1st time reading a ‘Twisted Tale’ and it has me hungry for more!

It was fun to read the story progress in a different way than the film. The story had me absolutely gripped from the very first page. There are a few new characters, but the characters that we all know and love aren’t left out either. It made me very happy to see them make appearances in this book. It shows a great amount of detail and made it that much more enjoyable to read.

Truly, the best part of this book was getting to spend time with the characters again. I already had a connection with Anna and Elsa, but someone who might not be as enthusiastic about the original Disney movie as I am, might have a difficult time enjoying this book. It certainly is one that would play more into the tastes from an enthusiast.

Overall it truly was a fun way to experience the story anew! If you’ve seen the movie, there won’t really be any surprises (which was my only true disappointment), but that didn’t quite take away from my enjoyment while reading this book.
